Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First

Lady Longhorns Visit Hershey For December Finale

The experience and maturity of the Kimball girls was the difference between Kimball and Garden County. Garden County's young team was overpowered by Kimball's experience and Kimball won, 51-30.

Coach Jaclyn Burks was pleased with their execution and the press.

Facing Garden County, Addy Olson had 19, Julia Winstrom playing a solid post position had 12, Grace Anderson added 8, sophomore Grace Moore was all over the court and had seven.

Finishing out the scoring were Joey Perry with 3 and Rachel Berger with 2.

The girls hit the hardwood again on Friday at Perkins County and at home with Morrill.

Both games resulted in a loss, but Burks is confident that her team will keep striving to improve.

According to Burks, "neither game was our best showing and we left with a lot to work on this week in practice. I have faith the girls and we as coaches will get the issues worked out before play starts back after break."

The girls play at Hershey on Friday to close out the games before winter break.
