Plans In Place For Parade Of Lights

A variety of activities and events are scheduled for the Christmas Parade of Lights in Kimball.

The parade will travel down Second Street on Nov. 25 at 5 p.m.. Ten floats are entered and more are expected. Anything goes for the parade – drive, walk or ride an animal.

Flower Haven is sponsoring a coloring page for kids. Bring the colored picture to Flower Haven by Nov. 25 for your child to pick a prize.

Santa, sponsored by Nebraska Coffee, will be seeing kids of all ages at the corner of Second and Chestnut streets next to Chute 7. Santa will also ride in the parade.

Other activities include the 2nd annual Chili Feed at KCTS from 4 to 7 p.m. and a free hot chocolate bar sponsored by Santa’s Helpers.

Organizer Chels Autrey and Laura Perry are striving to get businesses to have a window display, and displays will be judged.
