    The Kimball County Commissioners voted to send a warning to the county’s veterans service committee at Tuesday’s regularly scheduled commissioners meeting. The commissioners unanimously voted to have board attorney Audrey Elliott draft a letter to the committee about violations of the open meetings act and warn them not to meet Thursday under the posted agenda.     A one vehicle accident west of Bushnell on Interstate 80 cost an Illinois man his life. According to the Nebraska State Patrol, on Thursday, July 16, Joseph Geeting, 43, of Rockford, Ill., veered off the interstate in a 2015 Peterbilt, owned by Cold as Ice Trucking. Geeting’s vehicle headed eastbound near mile marker 8, where it collided into a rock embankment and was engulfed in flames.     The Kimball County Ambulance Service had its busiest month in a long time, the Kimball County Commissioners were told at Tuesday’s meeting. “We had a very, very, very active June,” said Carla Goranson, county ambulance director. “I’d have to go back into the records quite a ways to see if we’ve done this many calls in a month before.” The county ambulance service had 59 calls that month.     Farm Service Agency (FSA) Farm Loan Manager Roger Joekel announced Tuesday that Kimball County is one of six Nebraska counties designated as contiguous natural disaster areas due to severe storms, tornadoes, flooding, landslides and mudslides conditions affecting parts of Colorado.
