Longhorn Kyler Lusche goes vertical to get a hand on a tipoff at Gordon-Rushville. Kimball won easily, 77-21, forcing a running clock in the second half. Next up is South Platte at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, at The Arena to open the 2025 portion of the season. JV play starts at 4, followed by the girls at 5:30 and boys at 7.
The Kimball Longhorns boys basketball team had a very successful week to wrap up competition in 2024.
The freshman team started off the week on Monday with a resounding victory over Lingle-Fort Laramie.
On Thursday and Saturday, the JV team continued its winning ways by defeating Hershey and Gordon-Rushville as they improved to 6-1 on the season.
The varsity team also defeated Hershey and Gordon-Rushville to get to 6-1 on the season.
