Kimball Coach Jackln Burks liked what she saw in her team against well-coached Perkins County. "This game was a great indicator of the potential this team has," she said.
This last week we had a full week of games with another busy week ahead of us before break. On Tuesday, we traveled to Garden County and got our first win of the season, 24-21.
This game was physical and had momentum swings for each team. I was proud of our girls and their ability to show growth and grit at the end of the game, when we needed to hold on to a lead. Definitely some learning points to take from the game, but the girls played well and as a team.
