About 50 runners and walkers from all ages dashed into the Christmas spirit at Saturday's first annual Kimball Health Services Santa Dash at the hospital. Whether running, walking or just watching the fun, the registration fee was a new unwrapped toy for ages pre-K through 6th grade. The toys will be distributed to local children by Kimball Public Schools. Many joined in with their cheerful holiday attire and enjoyed cookies, hot chocolate and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus. No one was surprised when Kimball High School junior Conrad Kaminski ran away from the crowd--and the rest of his family--with a 13:30 time in the 5K run.
