Kimball Student To Play For Gering, Cheyenne 18U
Kimball freshman JaLeigh Bohac will play softball and try to earn a varsity uniform for the Gering Bulldogs, then play with the 18 and under Cheyenne Extreme traveling team for the 2024-25 season.
The 2024-25 softball season will be exciting for Kimball High School freshman JaLeigh Bohac.
After the Kimball School Board negotiated a cooperative arrangement with Gering Public Schools, JaLeigh will begin her high school softball career with Gering High School. She will attend daily practices after her school day in Kimball.
Conditioning for Gering starts Aug. 5. The Nebraska high school softball season runs until Oct. 5. JaLeigh said, "In Gering, I'm expecting to work hard and meet new friends."
