Cooldown Forecast For Kimball-Banner County Fair

Good morning! Here we are in August, and it has been hotter than a hoochie coochie! Cooling down some today and for a few days hopefully. See the forecast on Page A1.

I feel sorry for the fair livestock, and the kids working in this heat. They have all been busy for several days and today, Thursday, August 8th is FFA /4-H Market sheep and showmanship, and goat showmanship, plus a gymkhana at 5 p.m. and free BBQ at 5:30 p.m.

Tomorrow will be the FFA/4-H beef show and at 6 p.m. there will be a catch a calf contest, mini bulls and mutton busting and music at 6:30 p.m. by Steven Bankey & The Flat...
