Kathleen (Heigis) Wolff

Kathleen (Heigis) Wolff, 68, passed away on May 25th, 2024 after a hard fought battle with cancer. She was born on March 22, 1956 in Rapid City, SD.

Kathy married Dan Schnell and together they had one daughter, Dallas Schnell. She later married Allen Wolff and spent her remaining years in Burns, WY where she enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening and crafting. Kathy worked harder than most and always with a smile on her face. She was first to lend a helping hand and had a special way of making those around her feel loved and appreciated. She lit up any room she walked into with her infectious personality and ability to laugh at anything.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Norma J. Hanson and David P. Heigis, her first husband Dan Schnell, her four brothers Rocky, Larry, Danny and Dave Heigis, and her grandson Joshua Warren. She is survived by her husband, Allen Wolff, her sisters Sherri (Kevin) Pyle, Joyce (Steve) Thorson, her daughter, Dallas Schnell, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of a formal service, Kathy requested a private celebration of life to honor her legacy and reminisce about the lasting impressions she left on those closest to her. If you'd like to donate in her honor, please do so to the Cancer Center at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center or your local animal shelter.
