Lodge Cabot Carroll, passed away in Lincoln, Nebraska on Sunday February 4th 2024, he was 70 years old.
He was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and spent his childhood in Minatare and Kimball, Nebraska. He proudly served our great nation in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. While in service, he participated in Operation New Life in Guam, the relocation of Vietnamese refugees. He devoted 47 years in hospitals and rehabilitation centers as a medical technologist.
He was a husband, father, brother, son, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, mentor, and friend to all he met. He enjoyed riding his bicycle across the country seeing nature’s beauty up close. You could also find him at a fishing bank catching bass, or at University of Nebraska events cheering on the Cornhuskers.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Marge Carroll of Kimball, Nebraska.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Carroll (Frazey), his beloved children Sara (Todd) Goscha, Amanda Barth, Amanda (Logan) West, and Joe Rowlison. He had 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral home 4040 A Street, Lincoln on Friday 2-9-24 at 10:00 A.M. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 4-6 pm at the funeral home.
In Lieu of flowers, Lodge requests memorial funds that will be given to Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital for the Laboratory to continue his mission to enhance patient care.
