Law enforcement officers swarmed to the Finer Motel on Highway 30 after a reported shooting there Tuesday evening.
Kimball residents were warned to avoid the area of a reported shooting Tuesday evening in which a victim was transported by ambulance to Kimball Health Services.
The incident occurred in the 3400 block of Highway 30 in eastern Kimball, according to an emergency alert texted out at 5:39 p.m. The emergency system also alerted residents by phone and a shooting was mentioned on the scanner, so word of the situation spread quickly.
