Hayden Sours, Aubrey Culek Place In The Top Ten
The Longhorn girls golf team is well into the season with the Kimball Invite their third meet of the season. On Wednesday this week, the girls played at Creek Valley and on Sept. 7 they head to Mitchell.
In just three meets the scores are dropping rapidly.
On their home course, Kimball's Hayden Sours shot a 57 on the front nine and a 56 on the back nine to placed seventh with a 113, and Aubrey Culek shot a 63 and a 57 and her 120 took 10th place.
Overall, the team placed third with a 494. Mallory Hottell shot a 132 and freshman Carly Norberg had a 129.
The girls began the season at Sidney's Hillside Course and took eighth place with a 538. Aubrey Culek shot a 118,
Hayden Sours had a 121, Mallory Hottell was at 144, and Carly Norberg finished up the team with a 155.
At the Bridgeport Chimney Rock course, both Aubrey Culek and Hayden Sours shot a 136, while Mallory Hottell came in with a 148, and Carly Norberg shot a 167.
