38 Teams, 40 Volunteers And 51 Sponsors Support Hospital Event
A team of subcontractors from Windsor, Colo. fired a 14-under-par 58 to take top honors at the 32nd annual Kimball Hospital Foundation Golf Classic on Saturday at Four Winds Golf Course.
In a scorecard playoff, Richard Owen, Matt Hernandez, Brandon Halverson and Scott Schilling of Masters Petersens Flooring & Design, one of several companies helping build Kimball's new hospital, finished just ahead of Kendall Ferguson, Michael Ferguson, Kasha Meyer and Charlie Carlson in the four-person scramble event.
Thirty-eight teams turned out to support purchasing new chemotherapy equipment at Kimball's new hospital. Fifty-one sponsors and nearly 40 volunteers helped with the half-day event.
"We had beautiful weather, some really good golf and great support from everyone involved," said Kerry Ferguson, director of the Foundation. "I'd like to mention a special thank-you to Wolf Automotive for sponsoring our million-dollar hole-in-one challenge and putting contest, and AutoLok Industries for offering the golf ball launcher, which the players really enjoyed. We are truly grateful for everyone's support."
