Kimball fresman pole vaulter Trevor Fuss placed fourth at the Best of the West competition, above, and first at the Leyton Invite.

The state track meet is May 18-20 in Omaha and two Longhorns already have a ticket to go as Emma Patterson and Jayden Paxton will be singing the national anthem on Thursday, May 18, at 7:55 a.m. mountain time.
In recent track results, the Best of the West qualifiers in the pole vault were Trevor Fuss placing 4th and vaulting 12-06.00, Peter Russell placed 9th and James McGinnis placed 10th.
