Austin Michael Weinbender was born in Sidney, Nebraska on June 3, 1994. He was a cherished son who leaves behind his parents and grandparents who miss him beyond words.

He was a humble and loving soul, a brother to many, and a friend to everyone. Austin's soul burnt exceptionally bright, and those who burn the brightest, only burn half as long. Though he left us much too soon, the world is a better place for having him in it.

Austin had a passion for family, gaming, pool, soccer, animals and spending time with friends just goofing around, wrestling and laughing and target shooting with family and friends. He wore his heart on his sleeve so each and every relationship he made, he deeply cherished. He had such a big, loving and tender heart that reached out and touched so many lives. He was surrounded by many brothers and sisters who loved each other unconditionally, they always had each others 6.

Survivors include his mother Dina (Jay) Johnson; father Ronald (Kristi) Cortney and their children Declan, Taggart and Clairette Cortney and Taylor and Alanna Kelsch; grandparents Tim Sr. and Claudia Weinbender; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, and his childhood bird MaGoo.
