Potter-Dix FFA Begins New Tradition, Feeding Farmers At Elevators

Potter-Dix FFA began the new school year with a new advisor, Miss Monica Wasielewski. The Officer team began a new tradition of feeding the local farmers at the Kimball and Potter elevators.

This is just one method the chapter has done to give back to the community.

In the fall of 2022, the Potter-Dix FFA went to Westco's FFA Field Day and Husker Harvest Day. Both events had a variety of activities and demonstrations.

Eight Potter-Dix FFA members made a special trip to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.

They saw all the area sights, including Churchill Downs, Louisville Slugger Factory, Joe's Crab Shop, and a tour of the Belle of Louisville.

State-bound FFA teams are the Parliamentary Procedure team with a second and the Conduct of Chapter Meetings team with a third.

The Livestock Team qualified for State with a third-place finish against 17 other teams.

Potter-Dix FFA recently had its Annual FFA Labor Auction and Oyster Fry and was delighted with the attendance and success of the auction.
