Longhorn Wrestlers Compete At Chadron

Mother Nature continues to affect the Longhorn wrestling season. The team was supposed to attend a tournament on Friday in Hemingford. With the weather cancelling school and practice for 2 days, we made the decision to not attend the tournament on Friday so we could practice and get ready to compete in one of the toughest tournaments we attend on our schedule, the Chadron Invite.

The day was led by James McGinnis’s runner-up finish at 132. Trey Schindler wrestled to a 4th place finish in a very competitive bracket at 152. Cody Brinkman had an outstanding day winning the 132 JV bracket. The tea...
