Jayden Paxton, Brandon Paxton, James McGinnis Make WTC 2022 Team
Longhorns quarterback Brandon Paxton (13) earned Western Trails Conference all-conference honors for his play in the 2022 season.
Kimball High School has three representatives on the Western Trails Conference 2022 all-conference teams for 8-man football and volleyball, plus four honorable mention selections.
For the Longhorns football team, junior quarterback/defensive back Brandon Paxton and senior tight end/defensive end James McGinnis made the all conference team.
Receiving honorable mention were sophomore offensive lineman/defensive lineman Conner Deboodt and junior fullback/defensive end Derek Kauffman.
Here are the WTC 8-man MVPs: offensive MVP – Kolby Houchin, junior, RB/LB, Bayard; defensive MVP – Theron Miller, 11, OL/DL, Hemingford; and special teams MVP – Colby Lewis, senior, K, Bridgeport.
In volleyball, Kimball senior Jayden Paxton made all-conference.
Receiving honorable mention were Longhorns seniors Charlotte Hargreaves and Emma Patterson.
The conference MVP award went to Bayard senior Kierra Miller.
