Panhandle Senior Women's Association At Four Winds

The Panhandle Senior Women's Golf Association hit the links at Four Winds Golf Course in Kimball on August 29th. Thirty one ladies enjoyed the morning to complete the event.

Taking first place, with a score of 73 gross/58.06 net was Franny Haukup, Kris DeVries, Norma Perkins and Donna Loyd.

In second place, the team of Londa Maron, Sharyn Wohlers, Bebe Shortall and Sue Bringelson carded a score of 75 gross/59.23 net.

The third place team consisted of Jane Faber, Sally Plover, Sharon Havely and Jeanette Fitzgerald. They recorded a score of 76 gross/61.34 net.

Flag prizes were awarded as follows: Longest Drive "A" Player – Gail Magers, Longest Drive "B" Player – Tracy Mooney, Longest Drive "C" Player – Sharon Havely and Longest Drive "D" Player – Chris Lapaseotes.

Marsha Neifert and Kris DeVries snagged the longest putt flags. Londa Maron and Patty Schaneman won closest to the pin from off the green flags. Terry Espinoza was closest in 2 on Hole #2, and Franny Haukup was closest in 3 on Hole #11.

Extra flag prizes provided by the Kimball Ladies Golf Association included: Closest Tee Shot for "A" Player on Hole #3 was Suzy Ernest, "B" Player on Hole #12 was Beth Korell, "C" Player on Hole #17 was Bebe Shortall and "D" Player on Hole # 6 was Jeanette Fitzgerald.

The association's next outing will be September 12th at Morrill.
