Late Thursday evening, about 10 miles north of Kimball near Banner County, Brittany Cook handles the combine duties. The Cooks were one of the first area farm families to get into the wheat fields.

Tonight, July 21st, Bands on Broadway are at the 18th Street Plaza from 6-9 p.m., and in Chadron Bands on Bordeaux will be there at the same time frame at Railroad Park.
Tomorrow there will be another presentation of the "Emigrant Experience" out at the Scottsbluff National Monument. The ranger will be on hand from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
