55 Kids In Grades 1-8 Attend Second Annual Hoops Camp
Now here are some future Longhorns – the first- through fourth-graders who participated in the second annual Kimball Longhorns Youth Basketball Camp.
Last week from July 6-8 we held our second annual Kimball Longhorns Youth Basketball Camp at the high school and had a lot of fun working with the young athletes.
This year we had a total 55 participants who took advantage of this camp, ranging from incoming first-graders to eighth-graders.
We are so appreciative of all the campers who stretched themselves to learn more about the game and worked hard to continue to develop their skills. It has been an enjoyable time watching all of them take on challenges that we had in store and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for each and every one of them.
They have now become a part of the Longhorn Basketball Family, and we appreciate that we were given the opportunity to be a part of their journey.
A huge "Thank You" to all the parents as well who worked through their busy schedules to give their kids this opportunity and help support our program!! We are proud to work with all the kids this summer and look forward to seeing how much each one of them develops through the years to come.
