Winning the ABCD Vince's Corner Double Draw Golf Tournament were, from left, Dillon Wise (A Player), Jay Staehr (B Player), Henry Heeg, Tyler Stafford (C player) and Miguel Villagrana (D player).
Vince's Corner Double Draw ABCD Golf Tournament concluded just before a few thunderstorms came through the area on Sunday evening. The two-day event welcomed 152 golfers and hosted 38 teams.
Local golfer Dillon Wise captured the number one A Player status with a score of 115.868. Lance Juelfs was second, followed by Kendal Ferguson, Bruce Smith and Cory Huston.
First place in the B Player category was Jay Staehr, then Donny Peterson, Todd Menghini, Rob Jackson and Greg Robinson. Jay's two-day score was 114.442.
Tyler Stafford topped the list for C Players with 116.868. Next were Gary Monson, Kelly Garrett, Seth Engelhaupt and Jay Fennell.
Rounding out the tournament in the D Player division was Miguel Villagrana, scoring 114.733, Brent Bauer, Mike Reuter, Wayne Mitchell and Trendon Hinton.
Saturday's low score was a 55, shot by the team of Lance Juelfs, Jay Staehr, Rick Raffelson and Wayne Mitchell.
On Sunday, two teams shot a low score of 58: Jack Stafford, Brandon Stark, Seth Engelhaupt and Mike Reuter. The other team shooting a 58 was Richard Haupt, Greg Robinson, Jeff Bruns and John Deyne.
Meanwhile, Dillon Wise also has been able to chalk up another hole-in-one in early July. Number 17 was his lucky hole and his 9 iron was his lucky club. Dillon was joined on the course with David Craig.
