July 4 at Gotte Park included lots of watermelon. Brax Johnson, 4 enjoys his slice of fresh watermelon.
Hundreds of people enjoyed the festivities.
The cheerleaders sold hot dogs and Main Street Market supplied the watermelon.
The big hits were ballon animals by Kayla Fennell, fire truck rides, a High West Energy demonstration, and the craft tables and paper airplane station by Friends of the Library.
The City of Kimball sponsored swimming games and contests, and the Kimball Volunteer Fire Department completed the evening activities with a fireworks display from Horseshoe Hill.
