Ferdinand the 1,125-pound steer belonging to Kasyn Snyder, 10, above, gets a bath before showtime Sunday at the 19th Kimball FFA Alumni Progress Show. Kasyn is a member of the Pleasant View 4-H Club. Families along with their livestock showmen from the tri-state region turned out for the event over Father's Day weekend. In all, area youth brought 11 heifers, 24 steers, 37 hogs, 51 lambs and 35 goats. It was two full days of washing, grooming, showmanship, market and judging
