Kimball Longhorn golfer Kyler Lusche, showing his championship form above in the District tournament at his home Four Winds Golf Course, took his game to the Class D State championship this week at Lake Mahoney Golf Club in North Platte. After the first round Tuesday, he was in sixth place with a round of 81. The second round was scheduled for Wednesday. See next week's Observer for coverage.
