Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Potter-Coyote Track and Field teams traveled up to Scottsbluff on Tuesday, April 26, to compete against the best athletes in the region at the annual Best In The West Classic.
The boys squad managed to earn 17th place with 9 overall points while the girls placed 21st with 2 points.
The Sidney boys took top honors with 128.5 points, followed by Chadron with 94 points and Scottsbluff with 90.5 points.
The Scottsbluff team took top honors for the girls with 89 points, followed by Torrington with 81 points and Chadron with 70.5 points.
Senior Thomas Muldoon was the standout for the boys, medaling twice for the Coyotes. He placed second in the 800 Meters with a personal best time of 2:02.41 and placed eight in the High Jump, clearing 5' 07".
For the girls, junior Lily Tabor placed seventh in the Shot Put with a distance of 33' even.
Potter-Dix was next scheduled to competes at the MAC High School Conference Meet in Bayard on Tuesday, May 3.
