Kyler Lusche Pacing Boys Golf Team

The Kimball boys golf team was scheduled to return for some home cooking at its Four Winds Golf Course home Thursday this week after hosting the SPVA conference tournament last Friday.

However, the annual local invite could be held next Wednesday at best, weather permitting.

But if it’s canceled at that time, it won’t be held at all this year.

Meanwhile, freshman Kyler Lusche shot a 78 on his home course to win the SPVA conference title.

The Kimball team score was 402.

The rest of the Kimball team played solid on the Four Winds course with Trevor Anderson shooting a 107 followed by another freshman Conner Deboodt with a 108.

Longhorn golfers Landon Norberg and Bransyn Kiefer had 109 and 110, respectively.

Last week, Kimball traveled to Scottsbluff and Bridgeport, where Lusche placed first in Division 2 at Scottsbluff and was fourth in Bridgeport.

Conner Deboodt shot a 107 at Scottsbluff and 122 in Bridgeport. Landon Norberg and Bransyn Kiefer shot 115 and 132 at Scottsbluff and 123 and 122 at Bridgeport.
