High School Graduations Begin This Weekend

Potter-Dix Up First, Followed By Kimball And Banner County Next Week

Area high school commencements are on the calendar and preparations are being made for celebrating the accomplishments of the Potter-Dix, Kimball and Banner County graduates of 2022.

Potter-Dix Public Schools will lead the way with the first local graduation on May 7 at 2 p.m.. Seven students will graduate from Potter-Dix. The valedictorian is Thomas Muldoon and Ana Manning is salutatorian.

The Kimball seniors will graduate a week later on May 14 at 11 a.m. The 28 classmates will wrap up their high school career led by the valedictorian and salutatorian, whose names have yet to be released by the school.

Wrapping of the week of high school graduations will be Banner County School. The seniors there will graduate at 3 p.m. on the 14th of May with 10 individuals receiving their diplomas. At this point, the GPA for the valedictorian and salutatorian was too close to call, so the decision on who they are will be made when final grades are recorded the week of graduation.
