Kimball's FFA food science team, from left, of Shannen Acheson, Julia Winstrom, Grace Anderson and Carlee Murdoch received second place in the state FFA contest, an outstanding accomplishment recognized this month at the Nebraska FFA Convention. Grace Anderson placed first individually in food science. In the photo at right, Kimball Public Schools activities director Ken Smith earned the FFA Cornerstone Award for his long-term support of agricultural education and FFA, and the leadership that he has provided to Kimball schools. The award is FFA's way of expressing a sincere thank you.
