HISTORICAL SOCIETY GIVES TO NEW HOSPITAL

The Plains Historical Society presented a check for $1,000 to Ken Hunter, center, CEO of Kimball Health Services, as a donation to Kimball Hospital Foundation toward construction of the new Kimball hospital. Presenting the donation last week are PHS secretary Terri Lukassen, left, and new PHS president Rob Maurer. Maurer noted that success of the annual PHS gun raffle fundraiser prompted the board of directors to unanimously approve the donation to support the hospital project and give back to the community.
