Banner Senior Qualifies For State Speech

Banner County senior Kairyn Miller won first place at District Speech in Crawford on March 4. Kairyn will now compete at State Speech in Kearney on March 18. She will be performing a Serious Prose speech.

"Kairyn has a tremendous amount of talent. I'm very proud of her and expect her to excel at State," said coach Rick Caudillo. "All of the Speech Kids did an outstanding job this year. Mycala Jones did an excellent job at District and earned a 5th place medal. I'm proud of them all."
