Lady Longhorns basketball coach Jaclyn Burks expected her team to be "hungry" for success before the Pine Bluffs game Tuesday this week. Then comes Hemingford on Friday.
We traveled to Gordon for WTC first round action in a game against Gordon-Rushville. We had a solid game plan going into this game but unfortunately we could not convert our shots and lost 50-20.
My girls did everything I asked of them but we really struggled to put the ball through the hoop, Gordon is a great team, and they don't miss often.
Our defense did a great job rotating but when offense isn't flowing well, it's hard to keep pace with a good team.
