County COVID Cases Drop Significantly To 4

Just as fast as the COVID-19 cases rose in early January, the cases have decreased in the past weeks.

On Tuesday, Panhandle Public Health District reported that Kimball County had four cases in the last seven days – down significantly from previous weeks.

PPHD data for Kimball County shows 760 total positive cases with 12 deaths during the pandemic.

Last week, the positivity rate was 10.7%, with 17 active hospitalizations in the Panhandle.
