Tonyell McDay was employed at Marsh Technologies in World Trade Center Tower 1 on Sept. 11, 2001. And then, suddenly, she was not. This is part of a poster that her "extremely worried" loved ones made to try and find her. A copy of that poster is on display at Kimball Public Library.
Kimball Public Library has an educational exhibition of the events and circumstances of Sept. 11, 2001. The poster exhibits from the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, titled "September 11, 2001: The Day that Changed the World," is comprised of 14 posters providing a historical view as well as a personal story of those who witnessed and the survived the attacks.
Posters provide facts about the planes that flew into the twin towers, the Pentagon, and United Flight 93, the collapse of the twin towers, the recovery and cleanup, as well as a brief explanation of the resulting 20 years war on terror.
