Wrapping Things Up Before Winter Sets In

Banner County

Good morning Banner County, friends near and far. Well here we are in the middle of September and still some mighty hot days.

Beans are being harvested though, so it won’t be long before it will be time for corn and beets. Wrapping things up before winter sets in.

We have a few more weeks of activity before the holiday seasons are upon us, although Christmas trees and decorations are out already in some stores. Personally, I am in summer mode for as long as possible!

Saturday, September 18th is a busy day with the farmers market in full swing at the 18th Street Mall from 8-11 a.m., a “Vet Tech Dog Wash” at EWC from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 3200 W C Street, Torrington (307-254-4592), an art workshop at the Alliance Public library for adults 18 and older from 2-4:30 p.m. (308-762-1387 ), and an all day fundraiser at Runza to support the TeamMates Mentoring program .
