P-D Wallops Warriors

The Sioux County Warriors traveled to Potter on Friday for their first game of the season against the D6 powerhouse Potter-Dix Coyotes, and had no answers for the overwhelming Coyotes offense and defense.

The Coyotes piled up the points in the 62-8 victory and their second win in as many tries this season.

Junior Luke Kasten and sophomore Brayden Kasten shared quarterbacking duties, combining for six completions out of 17 attempts for 121 yards and four touchdowns.

Senior Jared Anton led the rushing attack, carrying eight times for 129 yards and two touchdowns.

Luke Kasten carried five times for 100 yards and a touchdown in the victory.

Luke Kasten also starred on defense, with 11 total tackles and three sacks. The Coyotes are idle this Friday, and are next scheduled to play again against the Crawford Rams in Crawford on Friday, Sept. 17.
