Evie and Phil Miller are serving as grand marshals in Potter's annual celebration this year.
Grand Marshals for the 2021 Potter Days celebration are Phil and Evie Miller, longtime residents of the Potter Community.
Phil was born in Sidney. At 7, he moved with his family from Gurley to Sidney. He graduated from Sidney High in 1964 and attended Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colo.
Evie was born in Sidney also. She graduated from Potter High School in 1962, and the Central Business College in Denver. She was the secretary at St. Paul Lutheran Church for many years, and also held several part time bookkeeping jobs.
Phil and Evie were married at the St. Paul Lutheran Church north...
