Weeks 5, 6 In The Books For The Association
July 15, 2021
The low gross was crowded for Week Five of the Kimball Women’s Golf Association league play as three individuals tied each with a 49, including Sally Plover, Phyllis Greenwood and Daria Faden.
Plover captured low net with a 32.
Plover, along with Shellon Anderson, had only 14 putts for stroke play on the front 9.
Both Greenwood and Shellon Anderson had hole-outs for birdies on number 8 and number 5, respectively.
Week Six was match play on the back nine, with Pattie Klinginsmith seizing the low gross honors with an impressive 40 and also taking low putts, needing only 11 on those challenging greens.
Regan Hinton nabbed low net with a 34.
Hole-outs were tough to come by as Jodi Keeler enjoyed the only one that occurred on number 15.
Flag prizes for closest to the pin from off the green were Judy Daum, Alene Schilz and Carmela Graves in their respective handicap category.
