Schedule Full For County Fair

The Kimball-Banner County Fair is a little less than three weeks away and the schedule is full.

Today, Thursday, July 15, is the deadline for all pre-entries due in the Extension Office.

Monday, Aug, 2 at 5 p.m., pre-fair cleanup is on the calendar.

The first day of 4-H kids showing their projects will be Tuesday, Aug. 3, with the Fashion Revue, Clothing Judging, Public Fashion Show, and all 4-H and FFA Static Exhibits will be entered at the 4-H Building.

Wednesday is a full day of horse showmanship, halter showmanship, pleasure, trail, pole bending and barrel racing.

Swine, Beef and Goats will be weighed in on Thursday, and both the dog show and small animal show kick off the market side of the fair.

Friday is the big day for swine, goats and sheep. The entire day of showing animals begins at 8.

Beef is what is on the schedule for Saturday, with everything from bucket calves to market beef. Saturday concludes with the Round Robin Showmanship and the FFA Old Timers Show.

The 4-H and FFA Parade of Champions is at 5 p.m. on Sunday, and the Kimball-Banner County Fair will conclude with the Livestock Auction on Monday at 9 a.m.
