Cowboys Visit To Compete In Ranch Rodeo

Riding horizontally, Morrill bronc rider Colten Miller scored 68 points on this effort. "I didn't score well enough to get in the money," he said, "but it was a fun little horse."

Cowboys from Mitchell, Bridgeport, Torrington, Hyannis and Akron, Colo., converged on Kimball for the Ranch Rodeo on Saturday, June 12.

The evening started with bronc riding: Winners were Ty Fenster in first, Justin Quint second, and three individuals tied for third – Wes Aragon, Jesse Callahan and Lance Mullen.

Casey Sterkel received top horse honors in the ranch rodeo segment, and Luke Kosorok was selected as the top hand.

JDS Livestock from Mitchell had the fastest times for trailer loading, team tying, branding and doctoring.
