Fraternal Hall Museum Opens For Summer

The Plains Historical Museum in the Fraternal Hall will be open Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Friday this summer from 2-4 p.m. Individuals have stepped up to volunteer to open the museum.

One of the unique items in the museum is the Hinner organ and bench given to the museum by Fred and Helen Rasgorshek.

According to the information on the organ, for $100, Fred purchased the church, which included pews, organ, and chairs from Bonham Mortuary in 1911. The organ was purchased for Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church.
