AmeriCorps Team Spruces Up Kimball Community Trail
The AmeriCorps team spent Monday staining the picnic shelter at the Community Trail just south of Kimball.
Members of the AmeriCorps team are continuing their volunteer work in Kimball.
After weeks of working at the Plains Historical Museum, they are now at the Community Trail, according to Jean Gilbert.
Gilbert said that they are staining the picnic shelter near the center of the trail, and a picnic table will be constructed for the shelter. Then the AmeriCorps team will build a shade shelter for the bench on the west end of the dam.
