HEIDE-SIEREN MAKES HIS SHOT FOR STATE

Kimball High School senior golfer Jesse Heide-Sieren earned a ticket to the State golf tournament by shooting a round of 83 and placing sixth at District.

The Class C-5 District Golf at Court House and Jail House Rock Golf Course on Monday, May 17, hosted by Bridgeport.

Fourteen teams participated. Mitchell was first at 331, Bridgeport second at 347 and Valentine third at 372.

State is scheduled for May 26 and 27 at Kearney.

Heide-Sieren’s performance adds another highlight to his 2021 season as top golfer for the Longhorn boys.
