Kimberly Page Hill (Schneider)

On Sunday, May 2, 2021, Kimberly Page Hill (Schneider), or Schneid, passed away in Loveland, Colorado, at the age of 52 surrounded by family and close friends.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 6th at 10:30 a.m. at The Adventure Church in Greeley, Colorado, with a graveside service to follow at the Kimball Cemetery in Kimball, Nebraska, at 3:00 p.m. along with a reception at the Sagebrush in Kimball.

Kimberly Page Hill was born in Kimball on October 1st, 1968, the daughter of Cecilia and Gary Schneider, and sister to Jeffery Schneider. Born and raised on a farm, Kim spent her younger years tending and loving the farm life, especially her little lambs. She attended 4-H and won many contests with her and her sheep's matching outfits.

Hating the cold weather of freezing Nebraska, Kim made her number one priority to go to college in the 365-day sunshine of Arizona State University. Using the incredible smarts God gave her, she graduated salutatorian in 1990 with an exercise physiology degree. Moving around, always jumping from one adventure to another, Kim never ceased an opportunity to get more sunshine and have more fun.

The unfortunate gathering of her brother Jeff's funeral brought her back to the little town of Kimball, Nebraska, where she first laid eyes on the love of her life, Vance Hill. He fell in love instantly with her deep brown eyes, and gorgeous smile that went right along with the sound of her laugh that is burned in our hearts forever. Having love at first sight, it didn't take them long to start on an adventure of their own. Selling weightless products, raising cows, and flipping houses, there was nothing that these two together couldn't conquer.

Not long after, they were blessed with their first baby girl, Remington (21). Making the move from the mountains, they headed south to purchase their first cattle ranch. Being a country girl and a momma, she also obtained her Real Estate license and began fixing and flipping houses in Trinidad, CO. There she was blessed with her baby boy Triston Hill (14), that made their family complete.

Kim was always on the search for truth no matter where she was in life. Discovering a book in the middle of the road in Cheyenne, WY, it led her to her Savior and Heavenly Father Jesus Christ. Making Him a priority in her life, she vowed to teach not only her family but everyone around her the love of God that she had experienced for herself. She committed her life to following the Bible and listening to Jesus's voice. This experience changed her life, and made her the incredible woman we all knew and very much loved.

Not long after discovering the truth of Jesus, she moved her family to Loveland, CO, where she knew her children would not only be raised in a Christian home but where they could experience Christ in a learning environment as well. She was the Christian leader in her family, and they thank God every day for the impact she had on their Christian walks.

In 2018, Kim got the devastating news that cancer had taken over her body and had 6 months to live. Being the strong-willed woman that she was, some say stubborn, she told those doctors that God was the ultimate physician and she put her life in His hands. Through various natural remedies and homeopathic medicines, Kim researched and devoted her time to finding a cure not only for herself but for all who struggled with the expiration date caused by cancer. She began to make video series, write her book, and dive into how she could make her time last.

Kim's family was blessed that she was able to spend 4 extra years on earth despite the odds she faced. She spent her time soaking up all the family time that she could.

She got to see her daughter Remington graduate and accept a music scholarship to college. She watched her baby boy Triston grow into a young man as he played football and graduate 8th grade. She loved seeing her loving husband take care of her day and night and pour out his unconditional love on her in every way possible. In her last days, she poured out her love and time with those that were closest to her. Constantly laughing and making jokes, Kim filled a quiet room with a light that penetrated everyone's hearts.

Her devotion to God, her husband, children and friends, as well as her witty sense of humor, incredible smarts, and unending love and kindness are just a few of the ways she will be remembered. We do not mourn the loss of our dear Kim, but we celebrate her life and the hope we have in Jesus Christ that his soon return will bring us all together once again for eternity.

She is survived by her husband Vance, daughter Remington, son Triston, stepsons Tyler, Jace, and Brennan, father Gary, niece Ashlee Vap, husband Jeff Vap, children Dane, Cora, Emory, Bladen and Baby to be, sister-in-law Jacquelyn Wetzel, and many close friends she considered family.
