Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Potter-Dix's Coyote track and field team traveled to Pine Bluffs on Friday and competed at the Pine Bluffs Invite that was cut short due to lightning.
Potter-Dix's boys team placed third overall with 64 points and the girls placed 11th with 16 overall poinrts
Potter-Dix's boys highlights included senior Donnie Moench placing fourth in the 100 meters, sophomore Luke Kasten placing second in the 400 meters, junior Thomas Muldoon placing second in the 800 meters, sophomore James Pease placing fifth in the 3,200 meters, and junior Jared Anton placing second in the 110 meter hurdles.
The 4x800 meter relay team placed third and the SMR 2-2-4-8 team also placed third. Muldoon and Kasten placed third and fourth in the High Jump to close the scoring.
Potter-Dix's girls highlights included freshman Madison Williamson placing sixth in the 100 meter hurdles, the SMR 2-2-4-8 team placing fourth, and sophomore Kylie Fiehtner placing fifth in the high jump.
Potter-Dix qualifiers were scheduled to compete at the Best in the West Classic in Scottsbluff on Monday, and the team is next scheduled to compete at the Burns invite on Saturday, May 1.
