Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Jake Reader, center, accepts a check from the Kimball High civics class and community to help with the expenses he and his wife are incurring as he fights Hodgkin's lymphoma. Next to Jake are his mother, Danielle Reader, to his left, and his sister Victoria Ingram, to his right. The Class of 2021 is putting on a fundraiser, "Jeans for Jake." Businesses are asked to help by letting their employees participate for $5. Donation buckets will be at these businesses: FirsTier Bank, Points West Bank, Kimball State Bank, Bemis Drug, Kimball Clinic, Hometown Hardware, Main Street Market, Vince's, Chute #7, city offices and the courthouse.
