Western Nebraska Observer - Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First

The Banner County speech team has worked hard and steadily improved this year. At the Hemingford meet Feb. 20, the team placed sixth and three members medaled. Mycala Jones, junior, was fourth in humorous prose, and Kairyn Miller, junior, and Haddie Grubbs, senior, were fifth in duet acting. Haddie Grubbs was second and Kairyn Miller sixth in serious prose. Wednesday is the MAC competition in Bayard, Saturday the WTC invite in Scottsbluff, and March 9 the District meet at Crawford. Coach Rick Caudillo said, "I'm very proud of our kids."
