Lennis L. Anderson

Lennis L. Anderson, 81, of Scottsbluff, died on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Graveside memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the Kimball Cemetery with Owen Anderson officiating.

Lennis Lee Anderson was born in Kimball on April 1, 1939, the daughter of Deroy and Beulah (Brawner) Anderson. She received her education from Banner County Schools, St. Patrick's Academy in Sidney and Sunshine Bible Academy in Miller, SD.

Lennis was a long time member of Calvary Methodist Church in Bushnell, sunbeam Extension Club, Twin Tree Ladies Aid and the Banner County Historical Society. She enjoyed flower gardening and spent many hours producing colorful flowers for all to enjoy. She loved embroidering, and made many pillowcases for family and friends.

She liked to have her fingernails painted and took pride in her outward appearance. They had many family dinners with John and Lorene Shaw and Ves and Arlene Frank and families.

Survivors include her brothers Owen (Janice) Anderson of Melbeta, NE., and Gerald (Lana) Anderson of Kimball, NE; sister Mary (Jerry) Walker of Longmont, CO; nephews Jeff (Shellon) Anderson of Kimball, NE., Richard (Shelly) Anderson of Gering, NE., David (Kim) Anderson of Melbeta, NE., and Jason Shannon Walker of Thornton, CO; nieces Christi Anderson and friend David Collins of Wynyard, England., Debbie Long of Loveland, CO; 4 great nieces, 6 great nephews, 3 great-great nephews and 2 great-great nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 infant brother and 1 infant nephew.
