Kathleen L. Winstrom

Kathleen L. Winstrom, 79, of Kimball, died at the Kimball County Manor on Friday, October 30, 2020. Due to the COVID restriction, private family graveside services were held and Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Kimball Presbyterian Church. Friends may visit http://www.cantrellfh.com to view the obituary and leave condolences and stories for the family. The services for Kathleen have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.

Kathleen Leilani Winstrom was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on January 27, 1941, the daughter of Raymond and Helen (Delos) Rupert. She graduated from LaJolla High School in SanDiego, Calif., in 1959. She attended college in SanDiego and studied nursing. While in school she changed her major to Social Work. She was a CNA most of her career and worked at Kimball County Manor. Kathleen was a very loyal, giving and caring person. She enjoyed and loved cats. She was a member of the Kimball Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her sons Michael (Sherry) Winstrom of Kimball, NE., Kelly Winstrom of Carmel, IN: daughter Susan Cady; brother Paul Rupert of SanDiego, CA; grandchildren Jaren and Julia Winstrom of Kimball. She was preceded in death by her parents.
