Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
A late October snowstorm last weekend covered the Panhandle and shut down I-80, forcing truckers to pull of the interstate, line up on Highway 71 and fill area parking lots.
The National Weather Service in Cheyenne had a report that 6.5 inches of snow fell in Kimball.
